Disney+ decided to cancel the comedy-drama series, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers after two seasons. The series is a follow-up to the 1992 film by Steve Brill, The Mighty Ducks.
After regaining the Mighty Ducks team name in Season 1, the team and its coach Alex Morrow travel to California to attend NHL player Colin Cole’s summer hockey institute. In season 2, they spend time in a place where youngsters can flourish at hockey without being distracted by the school.
The series stars Lauren Graham, Josh Duhamel, Brady Noon, Maxwell Simkins, Swayam Bhatia, Luke Islam, Taegen Burns, and De’Jon Watts. Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa served as showrunners and executive producers. Steve Brill, Lauren Graham, George Heller, Brad Petrigala, Jordan Kerner, and Jon Avnet are additional EPs.
Alongside The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, Disney+ also cancelled Big Shot.
