Disney+ confirmed the cancellation of the sports comedy-drama series Big Shot. The series stars John Stamos as Marvyn Korn. It centers on Korn, a men’s basketball coach expelled from the NCAA due to his temperamental character. He ends up coaching girls at a prestigious private high school.
Along with Dean Lorey and Brad Garrett, Kelley co-created Big Shot, and the three of them served as executive producers alongside Bill D’Elia. The first season of the show debuted in April 2021, while the second season began in October 2022.
Alongside Stamos, the cast includes Yvette Nicole Brown, Jessalyn Gilsig, Richard Robichaux, Sophia Mitri Schloss, Nell Verlaque, Tiana Le, Monique Green, Tisha Custodio, and Cricket Wampler.
