The official teaser trailer for Your Honor season two is finally here. Last year in August, the crime drama series, originally planned to be a limited series, got a season two renewal due to its success. The new season will premiere this January 13 on Showtime.
With 6.6 million weekly viewers, Season 1, which was based on the Israeli series Kvodo and created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach, became the most-watched debut season on Showtime ever. However, the lead, Bryan Cranston, confirmed in an interview that the upcoming season also serves as its final season.
Your Honor season one follows a hit-and-run accident involving Desiato’s kid. It results in a high-stakes game of lies, deceit, and impossible choices. The first season’s writer, executive producer, and showrunner, Peter Moffat, decided against coming back because he lives in the UK and wanted to be near his family. Then David Manson took his place as the showrunner; he later quit and was succeeded this spring by Joey Hartstone.
The cast stars Bryan Cranston, Hunter Doohan, Michael Stuhlbarg, Sofia Black-D’Elia, Hope Davis, Isiah Whitlock Jr., and Carmen Ejogo. CBS Studios, in association with KingSize Productions, produces the series. Moffat, Robert, Michelle King, and Liz Glotzer serve as executive producers of Your Honor. Additionally, Cranston and James Degus are executive producers for Moonshot Entertainment. Other EPs include Rob Golenberg, Alon Aranya, Ninio, Mashiach, Ram Landes, Ron Eilon, and Danna Stern.
