The CW has officially canceled the spinoff series “Walker Independence” after its first season, with no other network or platform picking it up. Despite efforts to find a new home, the show’s future remained uncertain. Starring Matt Barr and Katherine McNamara, the series was set in the late 1800s and followed the story of Abby Walker, a wealthy Bostonian seeking revenge for her husband’s murder, and Hoyt Rawlins, a charming drifter. Their journey took them to Independence, Texas, where they encountered a diverse community striving for their dreams amidst personal challenges. Executive produced by Jared Padalecki, Seamus Fahey, Larry Teng, Anna Fricke, Laura Terry, Dan Lin, Lindsey Liberatore, and CBS Studios.
