Hulu announced the renewal of This Fool for season 2. It will have ten episodes, just like its first season, which premiered on August 12. The half-hour comedy series received a positive response from the critics and the audience. It got a 100% score from the critics and a score of 91% from the audience on Rotten Tomatoes.
This Fool centers on Julio Lopez, a 30-year-old who still resides at home, has dated his girlfriend irregularly since high school and uses any excuse to put off dealing with his personal issues.

It stars Chris Estrada, Michelle Ortiz, and Frankie Quiรฑones. The cast also includes Laura Patalano, Julia Vera, and Michael Imperioli. Estrada, Pat Bishop, Jake Weisman, and Matt Ingebretson serve as writersย and executive producers. Executive producers for the show also include Fred Armisen and Jonathan Groff. It’s an ABC Signature Hulu Original series.

"This Fool" is an irreverent, cinematic half-hour comedy set in working class South Central Los Angeles. The show centers around Julio Lopez, a 30-year-old who still lives at home, has been dating his girlfriend on and off since high school, and finds any excuse to avoid dealing with his own problems. Julio works at Hugs Not Thugs, a gang rehabilitation non-profit, where he butts heads with his older cousin Luis, an ex-gang member who just got out of prison and moved in with Julio and his family.
