Prime Video has unveiled the Season Two trailer for its hit fantasy series, The Wheel of Time, treating fans to an exclusive preview of the show’s beloved characters confronting the looming darkness. The trailer also introduces fan-favorite book characters, including Elayne Trakand, Aviendha, and Lady Suroth. Filled with action-packed battles and hidden Easter eggs, the trailer showcases over two minutes of previously unreleased footage.
Season Two of The Wheel of Time, based on Robert Jordan’s second novel, The Great Hunt, and elements of the third, The Dragon Reborn, was filmed across picturesque locations in the Czech Republic, Morocco, and Italy. The stellar cast includes Rosamund Pike as Moiraine Damodred, Daniel Henney as Lan Mandragoran, Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor, Zoë Robins as Nynaeve al’Meara, Madeleine Madden as Egwene al’Vere, Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara, Dónal Finn as Mat Cauthon, and Ceara Coveney as Elayne Trakand.
The release of the trailer marks the return of #WOTWednesdays, with weekly Season Two assets and news to be unveiled every Wednesday leading up to the September 1st launch and beyond.
