
ABC has announced the renewal of the popular crime drama series ‘The Rookie’ for a sixth season in 2023-24, starring Nathan Fillion in the lead role. The show is set to reach its 100th episode in the upcoming season. ‘The Rookie’ is one of three veteran series that ABC has renewed for the next season, along with ‘Abbott Elementary’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ The show features an ensemble cast including Mekia Cox, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Melissa O’Neil, and Eric Winter. Talks for the spinoff series ‘The Rookie: Feds’ and ‘Station 19’ are reportedly promising, but the fate of ‘The Conner is still undecided as actor deals need to be renegotiated. Deadline reported the news.
