Oxygen announced the renewal of The Real Murders of Atlanta last May 2022. Recently they released a first look and announced the premiere date of the upcoming season. The true-crime series will return on Friday, March 17th, at 9:00 PM ET/PT.
The second season will focus more on those directly involved in the cases, such as the detectives, witnesses, journalists, and victims’ families. Each episode tells a story exclusive to Atlanta, where the convergence of the tech, entertainment, and music sectors has pushed fame and fortune to the forefront, sometimes with fatal consequences.
44 Blue Productions produces The Real Murders of Atlanta. Stephanie Noonan Drachkovitch, David Hale, and Dan Messina serve as executive producers.
