HBO Max unveiled the first look images for the upcoming ten-part third season of the comedy series, The Other Two. The streaming service announced its season three renewal decision on September 2021. Season three premieres on May 4 with two episodes. It will continue with two new episodes on May 11 and May 18, then one episode every Thursday until the season finale on June 15.
The Other Two follows Brooke and Cary as they struggle with their thoughts, trying to find their places in the world after their 13-year-old brother Chase’s unexpected rise to internet popularity. In season three, Chase is now a full adult, and their mother is more powerful than ever. Also, Brooke and Cary are standing on their own two feet and are “successful” in their own right. However, they again find themselves comparing themselves against new people.
Season three stars Drew Tarver, Heléne Yorke, Critics Choice Nominee Molly Shannon, Ken Marino, and Case Walker. The recurring cast includes Josh Segarra, Wanda Sykes, and Brandon Scott Jones. Returning guest stars include Richard Kind, Kate Berlant, Jimmy Fowlie, Alison Rich, Ali Ahn, and Marcia DeBonis. Also, it will feature new guest stars, such as Simu Liu, Fin Argus, Ann Dowd, Edie Falco, Ben Platt, Dylan O’Brien, Lukas Gage, Kiernan Shipka, Lawrence O’Donnell, Spike Einbinder, Andrea Boehlke, and Dana Delaney.
Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider serve as creators, writers, and executive producers for The Other Two. Other EPs include Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer, and Blair Breard. Producers are Micah Frank and Eddie Michaels for Broadway Video, Ally Engelberg and Marc Lieberman for Above Average, and Gwen Bialic. Broadway Video, Above Average, and MTV Entertainment Studios produce. Chris Kelly, Sarah Schneider, and Charlie Gruet are the directors. Chris Kelly, Sarah Schneider, Allison Silverman, and Gilli Nissim wrote the series.
