Netflix announced the season two renewal of the action-fiction drama series, The Night Agent. Similar to the previous season, it will also have ten parts. The streamer is yet to release more updates regarding the plot, cast, and premiere date for the upcoming season.
The Night Agent, which debuted at #1 on the English TV List with 168.71 million hours viewed, is the title with the most viewers this week. The show debuted in the Top 10 in 93 countries and is currently ranked #3 for the first week of viewing across all of Season 1 TV. Season one premiered with ten episodes on March 23, 2023.
The first season of The Night Agent centers on low-level FBI agent Peter Sutherland, who works in the White House basement and answers a phone that never rings. However, one night it does, and he is drawn into a quick-moving and dangerous conspiracy that eventually takes him to the White House. It starred Gabriel Basso, Luciane Buchanan, Hong Chau, D.B. Woodside, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Sarah Desjardins, Eve Harlow, Phoenix Raei, and Enrique Murciano.

In a press release from Netflix, the people involved in the series shared their sentiments regarding the renewal decision:

Shawn Ryan showruns ansd executive produces through MiddKid Productions. Seth Gordon directed the opening and serves as executive producer through Exhibit A banner. MiddKid Production’s Marney Hochman, Exhibit A’s Julia Gunn as well as Jamie Vanderbilt, William Sherak, Paul Neinstein and Nicole Tossou from Project X and David Beaubaire for Sunset Lane Media serve as executive producers.
