You will no longer see the mystery adventure series, The Mysterious Benedict Society, for a third season on Disney+. The series writer, Phil Hay, took to his social media account to reveal the decision and express his gratefulness to the fans.
The series is an adaptation of the best-selling book series by Trenton Lee Stewart. It centers on four talented orphans as the eccentric Mr. Benedict enlists them to save the world after they win a scholarship competition. Their risky mission was to save the world from a catastrophic calamity known as The Emergency.
Dear friends- season 2 will mark the end of THE MYSTERIOUS BENEDICT SOCIETY’s journey on Disney+. We love everyone who helped make this truly special and indeed life-affirming experience happen. No regrets- so proud of what we made! (1/3 )

Sonar Entertainment, 20th Television, Jamie Tarses, Karen Kehela Sherwood, Deepak Nayar, David Ellender, Matt Loze, James Bobin, Matt Manfredi (creator/writer), and Phil Hay (creator/writer) serve as the executive producers for The Mysterious Benedict Society. Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin are the series’ showrunners.
