The Madame Blanc Mysteries, a series co-commissioned by AMC Networks’ Acorn TV and Channel 5, is returning for its third season. Continuing the tradition from Season 2, a Christmas special and six episodes are being prepared. Filming is currently in progress, with the Christmas special scheduled to air in 2023 on Acorn TV and Channel 5, while the remaining season will follow in 2024.
Created and starring Sally Lindsay, The Madame Blanc Mysteries follows the adventures of Jean White, a renowned antique dealer with a knack for solving murders and unraveling mysteries in the picturesque French village of Sainte Victoire.
Sally Lindsay returns in her role as the series creator and Jean White, teaming up once again with Sue Vincent, who portrays Gloria Beaushaw and serves as a co-writer. The ensemble cast includes Steve Edge, Robin Askwith, Sue Holderness, Alex Gaumond, and Tony Robinson, who made his debut in the Season 2 Christmas special.
Season 3 will be helmed by director Dermot Boyd and produced by Jake Rollins, with Mike Benson and Andy Morgan serving as executive producers for co-producer Clapperboard. Caroline Roberts-Cherry joins Lindsay as an executive producer for Saffron Cherry.
