ABC has decided not to renew “The Company You Keep,” a drama series starring and executive produced by Milo Ventimiglia, for a second season. Produced by Disney TV Studios’ 20th Television, the show did not perform as well as ABC’s other midseason entries.
While there were talks of a partial second season order to allow more time to build an audience, the series ultimately faced cancellation. This decision comes alongside the cancellations of “Big Sky” and “Alaska Daily,” while the fate of the drama series “Rookie: Feds” remains undecided.
“The Company You Keep” followed the story of a con man and an undercover CIA officer, played by Ventimiglia and Catherine Haena Kim respectively, as they navigated their intertwined personal and professional lives. The series also featured a talented ensemble cast including William Fichtner, Sarah Wayne Callies, and Polly Draper.
