NBC announces that the upcoming tenth season of The Blacklist will be its last one. The episodes for the final season will premiere this coming Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 10/9c on NBC. Additionally, they just recently released the official trailer for its upcoming season.
The Blacklist centers on Raymond “Red” Reddington, a former US Navalย intelligence officerย who vanishes and ends up on the FBI’s list of 10 Most Wanted Fugitives. Red turns himself in with a list of the most heinous and deadly criminals he has crossed paths with after years of evading the FBI’s grasp. He offers the authorities his “blacklist” of criminals in return for their protection.
The season nine finale provides many signs about what the tenth season may hold, and it’s looking exciting. Red has, at last, satisfied his desire for vengeance by finding and killing Liz Keen’s murderer. Sadly for Red, number 84 on the blacklist escapes from jail and lets many other offenders on the list know that Red is an FBI informant. Red may have exacted revenge, but the same cannot be said for those he has imprisoned, and as a result, his safety is now in jeopardy.
Siya Malik (Anya Banerjee), a brand-new cast member, will appear. Siya will serve as a flashback for viewers who started watching The Blacklist with Season 1, as she is the daughter of the tragically assassinated Meera Malik (Parminder Nagra). In addition to the newcomer Banerjee, Season 10 stars Spader, Diego Klattenhoff, Hisham Tawfiq, and Harry Lennix. Christine Moore is the director of the series. John Eisendrath and Lukas Reiter serve as writers for the series.
On March 19, the program will air its 200th episode, a significant milestone in the frequently fleeting world of television.
