Apple TV+ released the trailer for the highly acclaimed murder mystery comedy series, “The Afterparty,” created by Chris Miller and Phil Lord, who won an Academy Award. The second season, consisting of 10 episodes, will premiere globally on Apple TV+ starting July 12, 2023. In this new season, viewers will be treated to a fresh mystery, new characters, and episodes that creatively incorporate various popular film genres. The global debut of “The Afterparty” season two will feature the first two episodes, followed by a new episode every Wednesday until September 6, 2023.
Miller’s creation, “The Afterparty,” is a unique blend of comedy and genres, where each episode delves into the account of a different character on a fateful evening. The storytelling is influenced by popular film genres and offers distinctive visuals that reflect the narrator’s perspective. Returning for season two are the talented stars Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson, and Zoรซ Chao, joined by an expanded cast that includes John Cho, Paul Walter Hauser, Ken Jeong, Anna Konkle, Poppy Liu, Elizabeth Perkins, Jack Whitehall, Zach Woods, and Vivian Wu.
