Netflix renewed the teen sitcom series That ’90s Show for season 2. The upcoming season will have 16 episodes. On January 19, 2023, season one made its debut. With more than 41 million hours of viewing, it quickly made it into 35 countries’ Top 10 English TV lists on Netflix.
That ’90s Show is based on That ’70s Show by Terry, Bonnie, and Mark Turner. It follows Leia Forman, a teen girl hungry for adventure and looking for a best friend. When she travels to Point Place to visit her grandparents, Red and Kitty, she soon discovers what she’s looking for as she meets the lively and rebellious Gwen, who lives next door. The events take place in the year 1995.

That ’90s Show stars Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Donovan, Reyn Doi, and Sam Morelos. The show’s creators are Bonnie, and Terry Turner, with their daughter Lindsey Turner joining them. Showrunner/executive producer Gregg Mettler and executive producers Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner are all returning to Point Place. Mandy Summers, Chrissy Pietrosh, and Jessica Goldstein will also join the show as EPs.
