
The official teaser trailer for the second season of the popular original series STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS was released by Paramount+ today, along with new teaser art featuring the U.S.S. Enterprise. The new season, consisting of 10 episodes, will premiere on Thursday, June 15 on Paramount+ in various regions around the world, with new episodes being released weekly on Thursdays. The show explores the adventures of Captain Christopher Pike, Science Officer Spock, and Number One on the U.S.S. Enterprise before Captain Kirk took command.
The cast includes Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, and Babs Olusanmokun, along with special guest stars Paul Wesley and Carol Kane. Season two is produced by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout, and Roddenberry Entertainment, with co-showrunners Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers. The series also features a special crossover episode with STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS, directed by Jonathan Frakes. Season one is currently available to stream on Paramount+ and other platforms.
