Solar Opposites, the adult animated comedy series, will be getting a fifth season. They gave the announcement at a panel discussion at New York Comic Con. It came before the twelve-part fourth season (set in 2023) hasn’t made its debut yet. This critically acclaimed series received a positive response from the audience, gaining a 97 percent average Tomatometer score and an 88 percent average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Solar Opposites revolves around a group of four aliens who flee their exploding home planet only to crash land in a suburban American home ready for immediate occupancy. It stars Justin Roiland, Thomas Middleditch, Sean Giambrone, and Mary Mack.
Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty) co-creates and executive produces the adult animated sci-fi series with Mike McMahan (Star Trek: Lower Decks). Josh Bycel is also one of the executive producers. Additionally, Bycel and McMahan serve as the showrunners of the series. 20th Television Animation is the studio.
