Courteney Cox and Greg Kinnear are set to make a comeback in the second season of Starz’s “Shining Vale,” premiering on October 13 at midnight ET on the Starz app, various Starz streaming platforms, and Lionsgate+ streaming platforms in the U.K. and Ireland. For viewers in the U.S. and Canada, the show will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Subsequent episodes will be released every Friday at midnight.
In this new season, the storyline follows Pat (played by Cox) and Terry (played by Kinnear) Phelps as they grapple with repairing their fractured family, dealing with mental health issues, menopause, and trauma, all while their Connecticut home continues to unravel its unsettling history. The couple not only faces inner demons but also external challenges. The enigmatic Rosemary (Mira Sorvino) returns, lurking in the shadows. The second season also boasts a cast including Gus Birney, Merrin Dungey, Dylan Gage, Judith Light, Allison Tolman, and Sherilyn Fenn.
“Shining Vale,” overseen by executive producers Jeff Astrof, Sharon Horgan, Clelia Mountford, Aaron Kaplan, and Melanie Frankel, presents a unique blend of horror and humor. Courteney Cox also takes on a producer role. The series is a collaborative effort between co-creators Astrof and Horgan and is a production of Warner Bros. Television and Lionsgate Television, in partnership with Other Shoe Productions, Merman, and Kapital Entertainment.
