Apple TV+ has decided not to renew the musical comedy series “Schmigadoon!” for a third season. The announcement came from series co-creator Cinco Paul, who shared the news on Instagram. Despite having a fully written third season, including 25 new songs, the show won’t be continued. Paul expressed gratitude to the cast, crew, writers, and supporters, acknowledging the miracle of getting two seasons. While it’s disappointing news, he remains optimistic about the future, hinting that it might not be the end of “Schmigadoon!” Season 2 featured original songs and a star-studded cast, earning accolades such as Emmy and AFI awards. The show was produced by Universal Television and Broadway Video, with Paul as the showrunner and Lorne Michaels as the executive producer.
