The FX series “Reservation Dogs,” which airs on Hulu, will conclude with its upcoming third season in August, as confirmed by co-creator Sterlin Harjo. The decision to end the show was made creatively, with Harjo stating that the season three finale will serve as a fitting series finale. “Reservation Dogs,” created by Harjo and Taika Waititi, follows the adventures of four Indigenous teenagers in rural Oklahoma. The show aimed to showcase Native humor and challenge inaccurate depictions of Native people in media. While the conclusion of the series marks the end of this particular story, the characters may make appearances in future projects set in the “Rez Dogs” universe. FX and Hulu expressed their support for the decision and their appreciation for the groundbreaking nature of the show, while also expressing excitement for the creators’ future storytelling endeavors.
