HLN renews Real Life Nightmare for season 4, which premieres on Sunday, November 13 at 9 pm ET/PT. Along with the season renewal announcement, they introduced the new host for the show, the former Cold Case Investigator Paul Holes. It opens with a two-hour episode, “Blood Mountain: The Hunting Ground,” that kicks off the season and looks into Gary Hilton (National Forest Serial Killer).
You will see heartbreaking personal mysteries and mysterious fatalities in the series as they continue to puzzle detectives and horrify people left behind. The cases include the missing of Flight MH370, Father Alfred Kunz’s unsolved murder, Lindsey Baum’s mysterious abduction, and more.
“Real Life Nightmare explores some of the nation’s greatest criminal mysteries, and I am looking forward to bringing my investigatorial experience to the series and helping shine a light on these important cases,” said Holes. “The team behind this show has a real passion for these cases that I have witnessed firsthand, and I am eager to share our findings with viewers as we produce each episode.”
Aside from the title for the opening, they also revealed the names for the five other episodes. The titles are The Disappearance Of Flight MH370, Secrets In The Catholic Church: Father Kunz Murder, and Who Kidnapped Lindsey? The remaining two episodes are Mommy Murdered: Arianna Vanished and Ambush On Exit 34. Catch them on your screens every Sunday.
Real Life Nightmare is part of HLN Investigations, the showrunner is Elizabeth Yuskaitis. The unit has developed for HLN the true crime docuseries Sex & Murder; Lies, Crimes & Video; and HLN Investigates.
