The cooking series, Rat In The Kitchen, will not be serving you another season on TBS. The series features Natasha Leggero as host and celebrity chef Ludo Lefebvre.
The show centers on a group of cooks who take part in various challenges in an effort to earn a cash prize. However, the designated rat in the kitchen, will attempt to undermine their efforts throughout the competition. If the rat can avoid getting detected, the person can win money. On the other hand, getting caught will push the individual to look for cheddar somewhere else.
“We decided not to do more Rat in the Kitchen. It is a great show, but we now have Food Network and Cooking Channel in the family, so it doesn’t really make sense to spread the peanut butter so thin from a content perspective,” Kathleen Finch, Chairman and Chief Content Officer of Warner Bros. Discovery’s U.S. Networks Group said in an interview. She brought up the decision while talking about the sophomore season of The Cube, which has been delayed until later in the year, and more Wipeout episodes.
Adam Reed, Adam Freeman, Simon Thomas, Bernie Schaeffer, Kenny Rosen, ITV America’s Thinkfactory Media, and Possessed’s Glenn Hugill are the executive producers of Rat in the Kitchen. ITV Studios distributes it internationally.
