This is extremely heartbreaking! Latinos need shows we can relate to as well. We like to see our gente on TV too. How about promoting the show before cancelling? This show wasn’t even given a chance.
So disappointed as I’ve really been enjoying this show. Bad enough that its being cancelled but they could have at least let those of us who have watched half the season see it to the end. So many streaming services that you can’t have them all, and certainly not subscribing to an additional one to see 5 remaining episodes!
I am sorry to see this news. The show was not a barn burner, but it is (was) at least entertaining. I have Hulu, but will I remember to watch the 5 unaired episodes? Probably not. In comparing Promised Land with the rest of ABC’s fare it was a class act. It’s actually the only ABC show I watch, drawn in by infatuation with the California wine scene. Alas, I’m sorry to see it go, and for me ABC goes back into hibernation.
