HBO has announced that the third season of Painting With John will be making a comeback. In previous years, this unscripted series, led by the beloved musician, actor, and painter John Lurie, has been a winter show. However, this time around, it will premiere in June to coincide with the late spring and summer seasons.
In this unique blend of meditative tutorials and fireside chat, John Lurie takes on the roles of writer, director, and star. Viewers will witness Lurie, a founding member of the music group The Lounge Lizards, as he sits at his worktable, refining his watercolor techniques and imparting both profound and everyday life lessons.
