Tatiana Maslany said: “Kristian Bruun and I started talking about the idea of doing an OB reunion back when everything had shut down. We wanted to show love to Clone Club and help raise some money for people who are disproportionately affected during this difficult time. We chose two charities, CenterLink and Sistering Toronto. CenterLink supports over 250 LGBTQ community centers across the world. Our LGBTQ fans have always been deeply important to us. Sistering Toronto helps at risk, socially isolated women and trans people in Toronto, who are certainly in dire need right now of support, resources, and healthcare. In addition to raising funds, we hope that we can bring some joy to the fans, something intimate just for them, make them feel connected to the Clone Club community even if we’re all far apart. Going back to first season for some nostalgia and iconic moments. All of the cast and producers and writers did a zoom chat the other day to discuss things and none of us wanted to hang up. Our show was always about family and community and sestrahood, so bringing us all back together for this just felt right.”
Sarah Barnett, President of AMC Networks Entertainment Group and AMC Studios said: “At a time when the world is sharing this strange experience of being together apart, we’re happy to reunite with our friends to bring the Clone Club something special at home. This incredibly talented cast and creators are reuniting for the first time since our series finale to shine a light on the critical work being done by CenterLink and Sistering. A special thank you to Tatiana for championing this and for continuing to capture the hearts of audiences around the world.”
David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg, Co-Executive Chairmen of Boat Rocker Media and Executive Producers of Orphan Black said: “Boat Rocker and Temple Street are delighted to collaborate with BBC America and Tatiana Maslany to organize a virtual reunion of the Orphan Black family seven years after the series’ launch to celebrate International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia. With so many people feeling isolated in lockdown, this one-off event will not only bring our loyal Clone Club back together in a fun, innovative way, it will also help raise awareness and funds for LGBTQ+ communities and at-risk women in need.”

About Orphan Black TV Show
Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) hopes that cleaning out a dead woman's bank account will solve all of her problems. Instead, her problems multiply - and so does she. Smart, sexy and pulsating with suspense - BBC AMERICA's Orphan Black follows Sarah, an outsider and orphan whose life changes dramatically after witnessing the suicide of a woman who looks just like her. Sarah assumes her identity, her boyfriend and her bank account. But instead of solving her problems, the street-smart chameleon is thrust headlong into a kaleidoscopic mystery. She makes the dizzying discovery that she and the dead woman are clones... but are they the only ones? Sarah quickly finds herself caught in the middle of a deadly conspiracy, racing to find answers.
Orphan Black is co-created by Graeme Manson and John Fawcett, with Manson also serving as writer and Fawcett as director; the series is executive produced by Ivan Schneeberg, David Fortier and Kerry Appleyard.
Orphan Black is produced by Temple Street, a division of Boat Rocker Studios, in association with BBC AMERICA and Bell Media's CTV Sci-Fi (Formerly Space).
The BBC AMERICA original series premiered on March 30, 2013. The finale aired on August 12, 2017.
Award-winning Maslany wowed audiences in season three, playing seven recurring characters including British street-wise chameleon Sarah, suburban drug-dealer and soccer mom Alison, love-struck scientist Cosima, Ukrainian wildcard Helena, disfigured professional Rachel, ghost Beth Childs – the detective who committed suicide at the inception of the series – and the newly introduced Krystal, a ditzy aesthetician trying her best to piece together the puzzle of her life. Throughout three seasons, Maslany has played 13 clones that have helped earn her first Emmy® and SAG nominations, two Critics’ Choice awards and a Golden Globe© nomination.
Season four of the drama will see leader-of-the-pack, Sarah, reluctantly return home from her Icelandic hideout to track down an elusive and mysterious ally tied to the clone who started it all – Beth Childs. Sarah will follow Beth’s footsteps into a dangerous relationship with a potent new enemy, heading in a horrifying new direction. Under constant pressure to protect the sisterhood and keep everyone safe, Sarah’s old habits begin to resurface. As the close-knit sisters are pulled in disparate directions, Sarah finds herself estranged from the loving relationships that changed her for the better.
“Orphan Black has touched a remarkable chord with fans the world over and continues to delve into provocative subject matter with a sure and entertaining touch,” says Sarah Barnett, President and General Manager, BBC AMERICA. “Tatiana’s performance is quite frankly phenomenal, proving quite convincingly, there is nothing else like Orphan Black on television, and no one like Tatiana Maslany.”
“The cast and crew of Orphan Black are thrilled to start work on season four of our critically-acclaimed series,” said David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg, executive producers of Orphan Black and co-presidents of Temple Street Productions. “The show continues to engage more fans from around the world with our gripping storyline led by the stellar Tatiana Maslany.”Keep track of the cancel/renew status of all your favorite TV shows.
