Netflix has decided not to renew the dramedy series Sex/Life for a third season, according to a spokesperson for the streaming service. The show, which stars Sarah Shahi, Margaret Odette, Mike Vogel, and Adam Demos, concluded its storylines for key characters at the end of the second season, making it a natural ending point. Created by Stacy Rukeyser, Sex/Life tells the story of a love triangle between a woman, her husband, and her past, exploring female identity and desire. Although there had been speculation that the second season would be the show’s last, Netflix is proud of the work done by the show’s producers, cast, and crew. Rukeyser, the showrunner, creator, executive producer, and writer is reportedly working on a new project with Netflix.
