“Sad to end our love affair with this phenomenal city but so grateful for all the friends we made along the way. I will miss the music. Big thank you to CBS for seven years.” — Scott Bakula
“From the start, NCIS: New Orleans was able to distinguish itself with its New Orleans authenticity. From the colors and music to the vibrancy and stories you can only find in the Big Easy. Thanks to the amazing talents of the producers, writers, cast and crew, ‘NOLA’ has played a key role on our schedule. We’re pleased to give it a big sendoff and that viewers will have the opportunity to say goodbye to their favorite characters as the final season wraps.” — Kelly Kahl, President, CBS Entertainment

About NCIS: New Orleans TV Show
NCIS: New Orleans is a drama about the local field office that investigates criminal cases affecting military personnel in The Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment and decadence. Leading the team is Special Agent Dwayne Pride, aka "King," a native of New Orleans who is driven by his need to do what is right. Working with Pride is Special Agent Christopher Lasalle, who plays hard but works harder; and Special Agent Meredith "Merri" Brody, a charismatic and tough interrogator who transferred from the Great Lakes office in search of a fresh start. Supporting them is coroner Dr. Loretta Wade, who is as eccentric as she is smart. This colorful city that harbors a dark side is a magnet for service personnel on leave, and when overindulgence is followed by trouble, Pride's team is at its best.

NOOOOOOOOOOO! WHY???????????
Noooo. I love this show
I look forward to watching this show every Tuesday night. I love the show and the cast! Why would you cancel a Great Show?
NOOOOOOOO! You CANNOT do this! It’s been different without Christopher but this show, oh man & New Orleans, the culture, the music, recognizing some of the places that we’ve seen there! Scott Bakula is fantastic & Loretta & Ducky & Jimmy & EVERYBODY! WHY? PLEASE don’t do this! Why not NCIS Los Angeles? They’ve lost Hettie, Nell, Eric is different, It at least for me, is the least favored NCIS show. I LOVE the regular NCIS with Mark Harmon though! PLEASE leave NCIS and NCIS New Orleans ALONE, P L E A S E!
Has there been any reason given for the decision to cancel the show? First of all, they should never have moved the show to Sunday night, they should have kept it on the Tues night lineup. Well, I guess with the cancellation of a top quality show with excellent casting and stories CBS will make way for yet another trash show, or “reality” show. They have to keep the attention of the younger viewers (that being somewhere around 5 minutes at most) – sad to see the show go.
You are SO right! NCIS-NOLA is, across the board, head and shoulders better than NCIS-LA, which has gone to pieces. NOLA has retained fine acting, good stories, and NOLA is a terrific setting.
Why are they cancelling this show? I love it and have never missed an episode. I wish they hadn’t moved it to Sunday night. That’s like a death sentence for shows due to them always starting late due to sports. What a shame to lose this wonderful show. I will miss it very much.
Agree with Marie but add cbs is Just the same as all the other networks they don’t give a shit about what viewers want or like to watch they Just want you to watch the rubbish they want you to watch and if you are not happy with that you can piss off because they are not interested in what you want or like
Regards
Jim (Australia)
Return this show to it’s day. Why did cancel a good show? Pathetic.
Thank goodness this show has been cancelled , the last couple of series have been awful IMO ,
To much angst and Scott Bakulas character was unbelievable.
