Nickelodeon and Mattel Television announced the renewal of Monster High for a second season. The exciting news came a few weeks after its first season premiered last October 28. Season 2 will be a 20-part series.
The season debut of Monster High is a success. In Live +3, the most recent premiere delivered a strong 0.58 K2-11 rating, up double digits from the prior four weeks’ timeslot and the prior week’s launch. It has garnered over 1 million Kids 2-11 and nearly 4 million total viewers.
The series follows teenage monsters Clawdeen Wolf, Draculaura, Frankie Stein, and Deuce Gorgon as they come to terms with their identities, accept their differences, and develop their fierceness and fearlessness at the school where they all belong: Monster High. In the upcoming season, the series will continue to develop the friendship concept and go deeper into character backstories.

It features Gabrielle Nevaeh Green, Courtney Lin, Iris Menas, Tony Revolori, Kausar Mohammed, Valeria Rodriguez, Alexa Kahn, Alexander Polinsky, and Debra Wilson as they lend their voice to the characters.
“Monster High is an iconic franchise that continues to connect with fans around the globe because of its creativity, relatable characters, and authenticity,” Claudia Spinelli, Senior Vice President of Big Kids Animation said.
“We can’t wait to continue to work alongside our partners at Mattel to bring even more animated stories to life surrounding the most-famous teen monsters around,” she added.
“Monster High is a franchise that, at its core, encourages fans to live as their true selves and celebrate the things that make them unique. We are proud to partner with Nickelodeon and our talented cast members from both the animated and live-action worlds of Monster High to continue delivering this important message through fun, entertaining content.” Mattel Television’s Senior Vice President, Fred Soulie, said in a statement.
