Netflix has renewed “Missing: Dead or Alive?,” a true crime series following South Carolina sheriff’s officers solving mysterious disappearances. Season 1’s success led to a Season 2 production, still managed by UK’s Blast! Films. The show explores intriguing cases, such as an Iraq War veteran’s involvement and a missing man with a winning lottery ticket. Despite its U.S. setting, it’s part of Netflix’s UK content hub. Other upcoming Netflix documentaries include one on Albert Einstein’s Hitler connection and a World War 2 series narrated by John Boyega, produced by 72 Films. Blast! Films is known for Channel 4’s “Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain” and Sky’s “Dublin Narcos.
