MasterChef will be getting its thirteenth season on FOX. Chef Aarón Sánchez, restaurateur Joe Bastianich, and host and executive producer Gordon Ramsay will return to judge the cooking competition series.
The news came shortly after the season 12 finale premiered on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. EST starring Christina Tosi, a chef and Milk Bar owner and former judge for seasons 6 to 8.
Ramsay has been working with Fox for a year, having launched their joint venture Studio Ramsay Global in August 2021. Rob Wade, president of Fox alternative entertainment, oversees the production of the studio’s all-new programs. Which either features or are produced by Ramsay. “Masterchef” and other Ramsay shows created for other platforms before the company formed is still being produced by their respective production companies.
The series is produced by Endemol Shine North America and One Potato Two Potato and is based on a format created by Franc Roddam. Aside from Ramsay, the executive producers of the cooking show include Elisabeth Murdoch, Danny Schrader, Pat Llewellyn, Ben Adler, Sharon Levy, and DJ Nurre.
Along with the confirmation of the renewal is the announcement of the casting for all aspiring Masterchef.
