Netflix has renewed the adult-skewed animated anthology series Love, Death and Robots for a fourth season.
Love, Death and Robots feature animated episodes that explore different genres including comedy, horror, science fiction, and fantasy. Upon its release, the show received a lot of critical acclaims. It received 12 Emmy awards and developed a devoted audience of fans.
Tim Miller, the creator and executive producer of the show said to Collider, “The way I felt is that there was not a lot of adult animation in the west, and particularly not in America, and particularly not at the budget levels that allowed for really high-end CG like what was going on at Pixar and DreamWorks for kids.” Additionally he added, “and we felt it was time to do that for adults.”
The third volume premiered on Netflix on May 20th, 2022 and again picked up rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. No release date has yet been set for Season 4, but we know it will constitute nine episodes. Seasons 1-3 is available to stream on Netflix now.
