After the long wait since the news of the season two renewal of Little America last 2019, we finally have the trailer for the series. The series was greatly influenced by Epic Magazine’s photo essay series of the same name. Catch it on your screens as it premieres on Friday, December 9, on Apple TV+.
Its debut season centers on inspiring stories of immigrants across America. It got a 95 percent score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Additionally, it is a BAFTA, Independent Spirit, NAACP Image, and GLAAD Media Award-nominated anthology series.
The second season’s episodes continue the first’s theme of focusing on immigrant stories in search of the American dream. These include episodes that follow a Korean medical student who aspires to become a hat designer, a Somali chef in Minneapolis preparing for the Minnesota State Fair, and a Sri Lankan woman competing in a marathon car-kissing competition in Texas, among others. The critically acclaimed series also features performances from Phylicia Rashad, Alan S. Kim, Ki Hong Lee, and more.
The Emmy Award nominee Lee Eisenberg and Academy Award winner Siân Heder serve as creators and executive producers of Little America. Also, other executive producers include Kumail Nanjiani, Emily V. Gordon, Alan Yang, Natalie Sandy, Epic Magazine’s Joshuah Bearman, Joshua Davis, and Arthur Spector. Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, produces the series for Apple TV+.
