
CBS announced the renewal of the game show series Lingo, the reboot of the original version that dates back to 1987. RuPaul will return as a host for the sophomore season. Season 1 of the show premiered on Jan. 11. You can catch it on Wednesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) and stream the episodes on Paramount+. They took to Instagram to share the good news. However, they are yet to release more details regarding the season renewal.
The current season of RuPaul’s Lingo differs slightly from prior seasons of the program. The new show is more like Wordle than a TV version of Bingo. It features two pairs of players as they compete to guess words. Whoever wins the game will take home the $50,000 jackpot prize.
Along with Lingo, CBS also announced their decision to renew NCIS, 60 Minutes, CSI: Vegas, NCIS: Hawai’i, Survivor, The Amazing Race, Tough as Nails, and 48 Hours for the 2023-2024 season.
