NBCUniversal is revving up excitement for “Killing It,” starring Craig Robinson, ahead of its Season 2 debut on Peacock. Robinson plays an unlucky man who dives into python hunting. Season 2 premieres August 17th.
To amp up anticipation, key Season 1 episodes will air on different platforms. Three episodes hit YouTube, one on TikTok, and two on USA Network post WWE Monday Night Raw, also on Peacock for free. This approach aims to lure new viewers to the Peacock series.
In Season 1, Robinson’s character partners with Uber driver Jillian (Claudia OโDoherty) for a snake-hunting contest, uncovering a competition scandal. Season 2 sees Robinson supporting Jillian’s immigration with snake-hunting winnings, now co-owning a berry farm. However, oversized snails threaten their prosperity.
Rell Battle and guest stars like Tim Heidecker spice up the show. “Killing It” hails from Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici, executive producers and co-showrunners, produced by Universal Television, with Robinson and Mark Schulman also at the helm.
