Apple has canceled the comedy-drama series High Desert, starring Patricia Arquette, after its first season. Arquette shared the news on Instagram, expressing her sadness. The show, which premiered on May 17 and ended on June 21, featured an ensemble cast including Brad Garrett, Weruche Opia, Bernadette Peters, and Rupert Friend. High Desert was created by Nancy Fichman, Katie Ford, and Jennifer Hoppe, with Arquette and others serving as executive producers. Director Jay Roach helmed all eight episodes.
