Amazon and the BBC are reportedly considering a renewal for Neil Gaiman’s “Good Omens” Season 3, securing the main cast options. Unfortunately, Douglas Mackinnon, who served as executive producer, director, and co-showrunner in the first two seasons, will not return for Season 3. While Mackinnon’s departure raised concerns about the show’s future, Season 3 is likely. Season 2, which premiered in August, performed well on Prime Video, and Neil Gaiman has indicated Season 3 is planned. The six-episode second season explores new storylines, potentially leading to the series’ conclusion.
