HGTV PICKS UP 14 NEW EPISODES OF ‘GOOD BONES’
With the current season of Good Bones on pace to be the highest-rated of the series among P25-54 and W25-54, HGTV has ordered 14 new one-hour episodes of the hit show starring popular mother/daughter duo Mina Starsiak Hawk and Karen E Laine who help revitalize homes in their Indianapolis hometown. Attracting more than 19.8 million total viewers since it premiered on June 9, season five ranks as a top 5 cable program among W25-54 and upscale W25-54 and a top 10 cable program among P25-54 and upscale P25-54 in the Tuesday 9-10 p.m. timeslot. On HGTV’s digital platforms, Good Bones has been the #1 most-watched series on HGTV GO since June 9, and content supporting the season has generated more than 4.3 million video views across HGTV’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts and 5.8 million page views on HGTV.com.
The new season of Good Bones is scheduled to premiere in summer 2021, but fans don’t have to wait until next year to see more beautiful renovations from Mina and Karen. New episodes continue to air on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT through Sept. 8 on HGTV, as Mina, a real estate agent and soon-to-be mom of two, and Karen, a lawyer, buy the most dilapidated properties in their favorite Indy neighborhoods, demo them down to the studs and completely transform them into gorgeous, functional family homes. In addition, fans can follow more of Mina’s latest pregnancy journey in the digital series, Mina’s IVF Journey, available on HGTV.com and HGTV’s Facebook and IGTV.

discovery+ Readies Six-Episode, Spin-Off Series 'Good Bones: Risky Business' with Starsiak Hawk for Summer 2022
With the current season of Good Bones featuring mother-daughter renovation dynamos Mina Starsiak Hawk and Karen E Laine delivering 12 million viewers since its June 29 premiere, HGTV signed the production deal for another 13-episode order slated for premiere in summer 2022. The series will continue to follow Mina, a real estate agent and mother of two, and her mom, Karen, a lawyer, as they buy more dilapidated properties in their hometown of Indianapolis. During each episode, the pair will demo the houses down to the studs and renovate them into dazzling family homes - all while offering a glimpse into their personal lives.
"The great thing about signing off on a mid-season pick up is that we know we've got a good thing, a proven performer," said Jane Latman, president, HGTV. "Mina and Karen have captivating personal lives, but they are also incredibly talented and creative when it comes to renovation and the camera loves them. It's no wonder they continue to attract new fans season after season."
Given her on-air success, Mina now will take on the biggest renovation challenge of her career in the new discovery+ series, Good Bones: Risky Business. Available to stream in summer 2022, the six-episode series will feature Mina going solo to purchase the historic Sanders House in the Indianapolis neighborhood of Fountain Square. More than a century old, the 6,000 square-foot property - which includes the main home and a carriage house - will be the largest project Mina has tackled to date in terms of size and budget. And, this overhaul will require precise restoration to return the Sanders House to its former glory.
"The Sanders House is an amazing historic property," said Mina. "It's way more than I've ever taken on before, but I'm committed to bringing it back as the jewel of the neighborhood."

The mom and daughter have so many teeth, it’s as if when they smile, their faces disappear – annoying ! The mom especially seems to have a fake laugh that shoes the entire of her mouth. Seems fake or she loves the camera. Not fond.
