Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment renews Going From Broke, Crackle’s Webby Award-Winning Original Series, for season 3. The series premieres on Thursday, November 10. In a press release, the executive producer Ashton Kutcher said, “This awesome production model brings viewers inside the transformation process. Going From Broke is the first makeover show that invites the audience to engage with the cast, financial experts, and each other across social media while watching the process unfold ‘live.’”
In this upcoming season, hosts Tonya Rapley (MyFabFinance.com), a financial advisor, and Dan Rosensweig, CEO of Chegg, devote their time to assisting participants and viewers in navigating the reality of their debt so that they can become the CEO of their own life. Additionally, it features major brand integrations with companies that include Chegg, LifeLock by Norton, Old Navy, DoorDash, Payitoff, and Family Dollar.
“We are excited to be back for another season of Going From Broke and this time we are expanding on how we help people who are struggling with massive debt. From crippling student loans to credit card debt and more, our mission remains to get people on the path to financial freedom,” said Rosensweig. “In our first two seasons, millions of people watched the show and learned how to become the CEO of their lives and I can’t wait to see the life-changing transformations that come from season three.”
In addition to Kutcher, Michael Winter and William Rouhana, Jr. from Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment serve as executive producers. Laura De Nay and Mustafa Bhagat from Flicker Filmworks and Dan Rosensweig and Heather Hatlo Porter from series sponsor Chegg and Mike van Reekum also executive produces Going From Broke.
