Flatbush Misdemeanors will not proceed with its third season, Showtime confirmed. The news came three weeks after the second season of the comedy series aired its tenth and last episode. The comedy was about two young men struggling to live a modern life in Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York City, without going bankrupt. Critics scored the series with a solid 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, and the audience gave it an 83% score. Despite the positive reviews, its ratings and viewerships took a dive in season 2.
“We would like to thank the creators, executive producers, and stars Kevin Iso and Dan Perlman, along with fellow executive producer Keith Heisler, our partners at Avalon, as well as our scene-stealing supporting cast of Kristin Dodson, Hassan Johnson, and Kareem Green. We’re very proud to have taken Kevin and Dan’s distinctive shorts and expanded it into two seasons of excellent television. Those two funny and inventive seasons will live on our site for audiences to continue to discover and enjoy.” Showtime expressed their gratitude in a statement.
Dan took to his social media platforms to thank the talented crew, the audience, and the people involved in creating the show a success. It met plenty of responses from disappointed and devastated fans and got comments regarding how they look forward to his projects after Flatbush Misdemeanors.
I'm super grateful to everyone who worked on the show, everyone who watched & shared, everyone @Showtime, & everyone in Flatbush. We made three no-budget web shorts & turned it into two seasons of a critically-acclaimed show & thank you guys for supporting #FlatbushMisdemeanors https://t.co/y4tBzR6FSN

About Flatbush Misdemeanors TV Show
Neighborhood best friends and urban millennials Dan and Kevin hilariously climb the ladder to nowhere in Flatbush, Brooklyn. But even inside the losing, they find there are little wins that come from tackling hipsters, mental health issues and the rising tide of gentrification.
