Disney has cancelled Fancy Nancy.
Per sources, Disney has opted not to go ahead of Fancy Nancy Season 4, meaning the animated show’s upcoming third season, slated to premiere in 2021, will be its last.
Executive producer Krista Tucker said of the cancellation:
“Au Revoir Fancy Nancy! It was a fantastic experience and I’m so proud of the show we created!”

So sad! This is my 4 yo granddaughter’s favorite show!
This is my 2 1/2 year old special needs granddaughter Lillie’s favorite show. She won’t look at anything else. I wish they would reconsider.
My daughter loves Fancy Nancy. I hope Disney reconsiders. The books and show are our favorite.
This is my 2 1/2 year old daughter FAVORITE show. She had an entire fancy Nancy themed party. Hopefully Disney keeps this show going!
PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAASE DON’T CANCEL THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As a stay at home father of a 1.5 yo and a 2.5 yo daughters Nancy and her family and friends have been a blessing and incredibly heartfelt and sincere….. It is hard to watch some kids shows but this one had me crying for real (the episode with the grandfather and the desk that belonged to his deceased wife) and my daughters are completely enthralled with this show and I have to admit that I can be sucked into it myself and get lost in the world of Fancy Nancy. It’s a great show with great messages and it has been a great platform for a guy like myself to bond with my daughters. This news is truly devastating in my opinion…… Is there anyway Disney would reconsider??
I wish they would reconsider. I am a stay at home mom of a 2 1/2 yr old girl who loves this show and so do I. It is a very “girly-girl” show (why I love it) which is probably why they cancelled it! I think we should start a #bringbackfancynancy movement!

Not only is my all 5 of my grandchildren’s favorite show but it is also a favorite of their pare and myself. It is something we can all sit and watch without worrying about inappropriate popping up. Please reconsider Disney. How can you go so far off of what Walt Disney had in mind!

I’m extremely annoyed that they are cancelling this show. It is quiet literally the ONLY show my child will watch. When they took 47 years to come out with three were watched season two maybe a million times. She’s just not interested in anything else but this show.
This is the worst news ever!!! Please reconsider bringing back Fancy Nancy and the whole crew! Not only is it a wonderful show to spend quality time with my daughter after reading the books, we both love love love it! There are so many little girls hearts that are broken out there right now
