Evel‘s ride is over before it even began.
USA Network has cancelled the Milo Ventimiglia-fronted Evel Knievel drama, based on the life of the famed daredevil from the 1970s.
Sources say the decision to axe Evel stems from scheduling issues caused by the Coronavirus production shutdown.
In a statement provided to Cancelled Soon TV, USA Network said of its decision to cancel Evel:
“USA is incredibly disappointed to have had to make this decision, as we were very excited about this project and working with Milo, Etan, and everyone involved.”
The show’s producers are apparently searching for a new home for the series, though sources say success is “unlikely”.
