Netflix has announced that the highly popular Spanish YA drama series Elite will return for Season 7 on October 20. The announcement was made during Netflix’s Tudum fan event, where a teaser trailer for the upcoming season was also unveiled (watch it above).
According to Netflix, Season 7 of Elite will take the students of Las Encinas on an extraordinary journey. In the previous season, the school grappled with the aftermath of a student’s death and aimed to conceal its scandalous history. However, the problems persisted as racism, sexism, domestic abuse, and homophobia continued to plague the prestigious institution. If the school authorities fail to address these issues, the students themselves will take matters into their own hands.
