The highly anticipated second season of AMC’s critically acclaimed show, Dark Winds, featuring renowned actors Zahn McClarnon, Kiowa Gordon, and Jessica Matten, is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, July 30 at 9 pm ET/PT on AMC. The new episodes will air weekly on Sundays, while AMC+ subscribers can enjoy early access starting from Thursday, July 27, with new episodes available every Thursday. Produced by AMC Studios, the upcoming season consists of six episodes.
Joining the cast for this season is A Martinez, who takes on the role of Valencia County Sheriff Gordo Sena, and Joseph Runningfox, portraying Henry Leaphorn, the father of Lt. Joe Leaphorn. Deanna Allison returns as Emma Leaphorn and Elva Guerra reprises her role as Sally Growing Thunder. They join previously announced cast members, Jeri Ryan, playing Rosemary Vines, and Nicholas Logan, in the role of Colton Wolf.
The first season of Dark Winds received glowing reviews, earning a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Prior to the second season’s premiere, viewers can catch up on the captivating series on AMC+. Additionally, the first episode, 101, can be watched for free on the AMC+ YouTube channel.
