CHASING THE SUN Returns to Ovation TV with Season 2
Premiering on Sunday, June 7th at 10AM ET
Chasing the Sun follows adventure-seeker, former pro surfer and international model Stephen Friedman as he travels the world. The series tells stories through the locals Stephen meets. In season 2, co-produced with JOURNY Ovation’s digital travel channel and app, Stephen travels throughout Asia, including stops in Hong Kong, Vietnam, Bali, India, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.
Friedman was born in South Africa. He made his mark in the television and ?lm industry by creating, producing, and selling his ?rst title (The Blueprint) to Fox Networks at the age of 23. A subsequent move to London resulted in the founding of his company Save Your Day Films. Save Your Day Films has dozens of projects in development and preproduction, covering reality TV, animation, documentaries, and features.

Chasing the Sun follows adventure-seeker and filmmaker Stephen Friedman (host and creator of successful Fox Networks TV travel show The Blueprint) as he captures the story of the places he visits through the people of each destination. As the locals tell their story, Stephen uses each experience to rediscover why we are all born to explore. Season one finds Stephen Friedman exploring the Americas and the Caribbean, with stops in New York City, Florida, Cuba, Ecuador, Peru, Costa Rica, Jamaica and Brazil. In the new season co-produced with JOURNY, Stephen will travel throughout Asia, including stops in Malaysia, Vietnam, Bali, South Korea, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and India.
