It’s not such a brave new world for Peacock’s first original series.
The streaming company has cancelled Brave New World after one season, Cancelled Soon TV can confirm.
Per sources, Peacock has opted not to move forward with Brave New World Season 2 due to lack of viewership.
In a statement provided to Cancelled Soon TV, the streamer said:
“There will not be Season 2 of Brave New World on Peacock. David Wiener created a thought-provoking and cinematic adaptation. We’re grateful to the cast and crew who brought this world to life. We look forward to telling more stories with David in the future.
The studio behind the series, UCP, is planning to shop Brave New World Season 2 to other outlets, however insiders say the chances of the show being saved elsewhere are “remote”.
