CBS announced the renewal of their police procedural drama series, Blue Bloods, for season fourteen. Season thirteen of the show premiered on October 7, 2022, and is ongoing. Episodes for the series air on Fridays (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT).
“BLUE BLOODS has dominated Friday nights since its premiere and remained an important anchor for CBS’ winning lineup,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment.
“Led by the outstanding Tom Selleck and an incredible cast and creative team, viewers continue to embrace the Reagans, their law enforcement family, and the series’ dramatic storytelling. We can’t wait to pull a chair up to the Reagan family dinner table for another fantastic season,” she added.

With 9.54 million viewers overall, CBS claims that the series was Friday night’s top primetime show and third-ranked broadcast drama. According to to live +35 day multiplatform watching statistics, “Blue Bloods” averages more than 11 million viewers per episode on Paramount+ and CBS TV. On Paramount+, the series ranks in the top 10 shows in terms of total minutes viewed. Additionally, it is Pluto TV’s sixth most-watched channel so far in 2023.
Blue Bloods follows a multigenerational family of police officers committed to New York City law enforcement. It stars Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, and Vanessa Ray. The executive producers include Kevin Wade, Siobhan Byrne-O’Connor, Ian Biederman, and Dan Truly. CBS Studios produce.
