Prime Video has announced the eagerly anticipated second season of “American Rust: Broken Justice,” the captivating crime drama starring Emmy winner Jeff Daniels (“The Newsroom”) and Golden Globe winner Maura Tierney (“The Affair”). All 10 new episodes of Season Two will be available exclusively on Prime Video in the U.S., UK, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada starting March 28, 2024. “American Rust: Broken Justice” continues the story of Del Harris (Daniels) and Grace Poe (Tierney) as they attempt to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of Season One’s gripping events. Season Two delves into a series of seemingly unconnected murders, hinting at a larger conspiracy that puts the entire town of Buell, Pennsylvania, at risk. Based on Philipp Meyer’s acclaimed novel, the first season of “American Rust” premiered on Showtime, exploring the challenges of the American Dream in a Rust Belt town. The cast returns for Season Two, including Daniels as Detective Del Harris and Tierney as Grace Poe, alongside David Alvarez, Alex Neustaedter, and others.
