Paramount+ renews the popular series 1923 for Season 2. The prequel series attracted 7.4 million total viewers across Paramount+ and linear previews, making it the most-watched Paramount+ debut in the US. Also, it got an 89 percent score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Season 1 will return with new episodes on Sunday, February 5, ending its long hiatus.

The events in the series take place in the early 20th century, following the Dutton family, who live in the mountain west at a time of pandemics, historic drought, and the end of Prohibition.
The series stars Academy Award(R) Nominee Harrison Ford and Academy Award Winner Helen Mirren. The cast includes Brandon Sklenar, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Jerome Flynn, and Julia Schlaepfer.
MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions produce the series. YELLOWSTONE co-creator Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, and Ben Richardson serve as executive producers of 1923.
