In a tweet by Colin Mochrie, he confirmed that the 12th season of Whose Line Is It Anyway? will be the last. The improv comedy series is an adaptation of a British program of the same name. Before being picked up by the CW and starting to air in 2013, it first ran on ABC and ABC Family from 1998 to 2007.

The series stars Mochrie, Wayne Brady, and Ryan Stiles, with Aisha Tyler serving as a host since 2013. Dan Patterson and Mark Leveson serve as executive producers. It’s from Hat Trick Prods. and Warner Bros. TV. Whose Line Is It Anyway? joins the list of cancelled TV shows on CW this year, joining Stargirl and Nancy Drew.
